Who the Girls Are

So before we delve into the adventures of the fabulous 5, it's important to find out who those fabulous 5 are. Please note that for obvious reasons, the real names of each us has been with held. Instead, I'm refferring to everyone by a pseudonym. (Let's see if I can come up with better names for everyone than their parents did).

Anna:
If we were to decide on a ring-leader for our group, I think we would all choose Anna. She's the most fun out of everyone in the group, I think. She's got the bubbliest personality, she says whatever's on her mind, and she doesn't care who's watching or listening. She's the one who's there whenever any of us needs someone to talk to. She's the kind of person who would drop everything to rush to your side if you were in trouble. She sees the good in everyone, no matter who they are, or what they've done. She's also incredibly funny. She's constantly saying things that make us bust a gut from laughing so hard. Anna recently moved into her own condo and bought a cat named Jube-Jube, despite my warnings that she could one day become the old lady with a million cats. Anna's aspirations in life include becoming a celebrity reporter for People Magazine and making her cat the fattest feline on the planet.

Mary:
There's a popular nursery rhyme that goes "Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?" Our Mary doesn't have a garden, but she does offer us some perplexities from time to time. Mainly because she's really quiet, no one really knows what she's thinking. She's a mystery sometimes, but she's a blast to have around. Mary is all about having a good time with the girls. She's up for shopping, going to the clubs, going on road trips, and even places a lot farther away. She's always talking about the next big trip we should be planning. Mary has recently begun a new job where she'll be running into hot men (namely injured athletes) on a daily basis. If she doesn't manage to snag a guy, then there is seriously something wrong with the universe.

Ivanka:
Remember in the movie "Rocky" there was that Russian boxer named Ivan? Ivanka could seriously be his long-lost sister........if he were a real person and not just a fictional character. Ivanka is a lot to take when you first get to know her because she has such a strong personality, not to mention a strong Russian accent. She's also a lot taller than most people, so she can be a bit intimidating. It'll come in handy when she gets a job as a police officer, like she hopes. However, when you get to know Ivanka, you quickly come to realize what an amazing, fun, and hilarious person she really is. She's another one who will be there for you if you need it. She's the type of person that will put other people's needs before her own even during the times when she should be thinking of herself. She has a heart of gold, and sadly that heart is set on someone who may not deserve it.

Viz:
Viz is awesome. There's just no other way to put it. She's relatively new to the group - really only became my friend about a year and a half ago. But she's the kind of person you feel like you've known since you were in diapers. Viz is a riot and a half. If you can't have a good time with Viz, you can't have a good time at all. She's the only other person (besides myself) who knows the words to every song that's ever hit the airwaves, and even the ones that haven't. Which is perhaps why we get along so well. We are constantly singing stupid songs and changing the words to fit whatever mood we're in, and we go through a lot of moods. Our mood of choice is the crazy one, which again, is why we get along so well. Viz is a little more daring than the rest of us when it comes to meeting men. She's not afraid to go out on a limb (or a bad date) in order to meet new people. Which is why her prospects of meeting guys is a lot better than the rest of us. Just keep her away from guys who sing lullibies on street corners and like to wear MaryJane shoes.

Cristina (Me):
I'm calling myself Cristina because I like it and because it's a good European name. And I'm a good European girl. My parents would be quite proud - and I think they are. Which actually gets kind of annoying after a while, but whatever. I'd like to think of myself as the glue that holds the whole group together, but I know that I'm not. That's more Anna's role. If I had a role, I think it'd be the sarcastic one. Not really sure what my purpose is as the sarcastic one in the group, but I know that I can make people laugh. And sometimes I can annoy the hell out of everyone which makes me laugh. So there's laughing all around and that's a good thing. I am probably the most independent one out of the whole group since I've been living on my own for the longest and I own a house. I sound really boring compared to my friends, but that's because I probably should have gotten one of them to write about me rather than do it myself.

The other players:
There are other players who will show up in these pages from time to time, who are equally important in our lives, but who have already found their mister rights so we hate them. No, I'm kidding. Lynette is our cute little entrepreneur friend who can't be a main character in our story simply because she's already been married and has the cutest little son in the whole entire world. So even though she can get every hot guy out there (no exaggeration), she's already been there and done that, and now it's time for the rest of us. (LOL!) The same can be said of LuLu. She's another one that's already been married and has two cute kids. I don't know, but the whole "Milf" thing must be true, because out of our whole group, Lynette and LuLu, the moms of the group, are the ones who get the most attention from guys!! Maybe the rest of us need to just go out and get pregnant!! (Or not). Then there's the one we'll just reffer to as T. T stands for Tall, because T stands tall!! She's another one that can't be included as a main character because she's seeing someone right now so she's needs to step back and make room for the rest of us!! HaHa. Even though these three spectacular ladies are not in the same boat as the rest of us, I had to include them!!!

I'm sure there will be others along the way but we'll introduce them as we go.
